Colorful Trainers — Rhea Malve

Any fashion guru will tell you, the fundamentals of mastering a versatile wardrobe come with basics like a crisp white tee, a well-made pair of jeans, a classic blazer, and maybe a solid shirt. On the footwear front, clean white trainers, sometimes even with a touch of wear and tear (which I find very sexy), have been a staple for almost a decade now.

However, change is afoot (pun intended). And although our trusty dusty white kicks will never go out of fashion, their colorful comrades are currently the new “it girls” of all footwear. Thanks to Adidas, specifically their ever-growing collection of Gazelles for being the founding fathers of what can only be called a “vibrant” movement in the future for footwear fashion.

As of now, we can easily get our hands on Sambas and Gazelles, of any color in the rainbow - but there are also other brands to discover beyond Adidas. These include but aren’t limited to Onitsuka Tiger, Jigsaw, Gola, New Balance, Keds, and others.

According to the forecast (aka fashion editors), it is reported that indulging in the world of bright, fun colorful trainers is here to stay for the foreseeable future.
